(Birmingham) The Birmingham City Council recognized the Birmingham Metro Little League at its August 22, 2023 Council Meeting. Councilor J.T. Moore was the sponsor of the resolution acknowledging the community work and success of the program during the 2023 season which culminated with a Runner-Up finish in the 12U Division of the Alabama State Little League Tournament.
The Birmingham Metro Little League sponsors the Inglenook Comet Baseball program, established in 2019 which provides baseball instruction, mentoring, character development, and academic enrichment to boys and girls ages 5-14.
